Hi Guys, I bought a kit many years ago for use in my Hillman Imp. The finished article was mapped by an Imp Club member for me, so I have never downloaded the appropriate software for myself. I now have a new Netbook which I've bought for the sole intention of mapping my unit. Do I need the V3 specific software, or is the updated V4 compatible ? My MJLJ is the aluminium boxed version, MAP sensor, with a serial port.

it's likely you need Software version 3.2.1 on your megajolt, as the firmware on the unit was likely not upgraded to the latest. You can download it here:

Thanks Brent. I'll do that. By the way, I found a short hand-written message from the other half (Kelley ?) yesterday when I was looking out all of the paperwork I had for the MJLJ. I'd experienced problems with the mail service when I bought my kit and it was just to apologise for the delay. 
I've tried to push your systems whenever people have asked about my cars' ignition. The last one I convinced has bought a kit for his Rover V8: yet to be fitted. I was keen to buy a few of the stickers to continue "spreading the word", however the $28 international mail costs has shocked me a little !!
Can you not do something to reduce this cost ?

On the cost- so we are obligated by our payment processing companies (Visa, Paypal) that we ship packages with tracking numbers. This level of shipping bumps the cost considerably.
But there's a solution! You can purchase directly from our UK distributor: http://www.triggerwheels.com . Chris Good (cng1 here on the forums) will provide you with excellent service- and naturally provide faster and cheaper postage.
