user defined outputs

do the user defined outputs need a flyback diode for relay driving, or is there one internally?

edit: from what i can get off the datasheet and the mjlj assembly instructions no i don't need any external flyback, just thought i'd check first though

Hi Eric,

the ULN2003's have built in flyback diodes. Just keep it within the rated output (500ma).

On a different topic, have you been able to test the hard rev limiter?

Like I said, after reading the datasheet I saw there was a flyback internally, I just didn't know if it was hooked up.

As for the rev limiter, it's wired up, but the engine is currently out of the car again (flywheel seal leaked oil on my fresh rebuild, d'oh). I will post an update when I know either way.
