ok so heres my idea
ive just bought a timing light with the advance feature on it, as you know im running megajolt ignition and can alter the adance the engine puts out
so the base map im using atm is 10 degrees advance at idle (900 revs approx)
i want to make sure my trigger wheel is set up in the correct position exactly so my idea was to try this
place a mark beside the crank pulley and another one on the crank pulley directly next to each other (will probably mark the crank sensor)
hook up the timing light to plug 1 and set the advance to 0 on the gun
shine it on the pulley and see where the marks are, adjust the knob on the gun untill the lines match up and hopefully it says 10
if not i can then adjust the offset in the megajolt software
correct or am i doing it wrong ?
checking the trigger wheel

No it doesn't read double. But at first off it was all over the place, but the HT lead connector wasn't a nice tight on my leads. Twisted it so it contacted the lead at both sides and everything was fine then. 10 degrees on the edis and the megajolt does control it when connected up.
