Voltage regulator?

Is anyone running a voltage regulator inline with the mega jolt and coil power 12V+? Or is that overkill and not advisable as the regulator on the alternator should be fine? If you are using one do you have a link of where you got it?

What type of voltage regulator are you referring to? The Megajolt system is designed to run off of the regular automotive electrical system.
