Does the MJLJ tach output drive your MR2's tach? I just want to be certain before I start hooking up wires.

The MR2's tach (and probably many other OEM units) requires a high voltage kickback pulse from the coil in order to operate correctly.
The thing to do is adapt a simple diode circuit to sense the kickback from both coils.

I was aware of that circuit, I can remember a while back hat you were discussing including a circuit for the Toyota tach in your MR2 as one of the features, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't already their before I went ahead and added the circuit mentioned above.
