Right i have all the parts i need to get my V3 working.
All i need to do is wire it all up.
Can someone please confirm that i'm thoughts are right and answer a few little questions for me?
GND - Easy not a problem
+12v - Easy not a problem
TPS - Not required as i'm using MAP
VREF - Not required or feed it +12v?
PGM3 - one of the programable outputs (i'm not using yet)
SAW - SAW feed from the EDIS
PGM4 - one of the programable outputs (i'm not using yet)
OPTION - ????
SHIFT LIGHT - Easy not a problem
PGM1 - one of the programable outputs (i'm not using yet)
REV-LIMIT - Where do i connect that?
PIP - SAW feed from the EDIS
PGM2 - one of the programable outputs (i'm not using yet)
Many Thanks
Hopfully i'll have a working jolt on my mini tomorrow evening

thats about right
-fit a low rated fuse on the 12v, about 0.5a i think is what ive used
-option is aparently for the switchable map, presumably it will work with out this wired in, but im not using the v3 board so im not too sure
-it will work fine without the rev limit connected to anything, i think this needs to be connected to a relay and the to the coil pack to cut the power supply or something (im not using it)
im not sure what the vref does

I think you meant
PIP - PIP feed FROM the EDIS
SAW - SAW feed TO the EDIS
Make sure these two wires are shielded, with the shield lead grounded..
Also recommended, you share the same power and ground with the EDIS module.

Vref is the output voltage
Vref is the output voltage (an accurate and smooth 5 volts) for a throttle position sensor. Leave it unconnected. DO NOT CONNECT IT TO 12v !!!!
cmon guys, dont forget the REV LIMIT question!
that wire can drive additional rev limiter hardware. it is optional, and my feeling is that it is completely unnecessary on a road car (even if good for inveterate fiddlers, like most people here). there is just now an optional rev limiter board being beta tested (or is it completed, brent?) if you are that keen. so dont connect that to anything. you will also find there is a software rev limiter anyway, which works an absolute treat and requires no connections at all.
