Hi, i've recently purchased a MAP version MJLJ, and its going to be installed to a VW 1.8 16V engine fitted with twin webers, and understand its better to have the vacuum taken off each individual runner running to a plenum chamber, then to the MJLJ. But what im struggling with is what fittings to use in the manifold? I cant seem to find any suitable ones around.
Also, the inlet manifold is quite short in length, so being compact is a factor. Plus im being a bit of a tart, and trying to keep the engine bay as minimal as possible.
The only thing I've seen that could be suitable is these http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performan ... -fitting-2
Only problem with these i can see is that being plastic could break easily screwing into the manifold? Or am i being a bit over cautious? Been trying to find a brass version with no luck.
Any help would be much appriciated, also pics would be a bonus
Thanks, Wol.

Your local pneumatics parts place should have all you need, or online try:

Or these

I would fear that the plastic take offs would be prone to breaking or melting
Cheers
