What wire where?

Hello!

I'm busy building the loom for MJLJ and EDIS for my LandRover based on the diagram here: http://picasso.org/mjlj/?q=node/606

I am confused now by the coil connections. The plug I have has connection numbers printed on it, 1 to 3, but they seem the wrong way around from the diagram.

Looking at the diagram; am I looking at the pin side near me and the wires away from me? If so, this is the reverse of the numbers on the plug.

Which should I believe?

I didn't think this was a difficult question.

Can I use the numbers on the plug or should I line everything up slavishly with the diagram?

I have doubled checked the wiring and you are correct the numbers are reversed on plug. But if you match the keyway at top left on plug to drawing then you will be ok.

Looks like who ever did the drawing first got numbers wrong. I will be ammending my drawing on my website late.

I'll wire them up according to the diagram and ignore the numbers on the plug.
