Race Analyzer 1.1.10 released

Post by brentp »

Noteworthy feature in this release - live monitoring of sensor channels. This is an interim release before 1.2.x since this feature is so needed.

Now off to preparing source code repositories for public release!

Live Monitoring Crashes Application

Post by Ducati »

Is anyone else experiencing issues when trying to use the live monitoring feature? I can get it to run once in about 20 tries or so but not consistently. I've tried reading the configuration first, unplugging the hardware before starting monitoring, unhooking the sensor before starting monitoring, but nothing seems to work!

When it doesn't work for me I get the following message:

"raceAnalyzer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Error Details:

AppName: raceanalyzer.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: libstdc++-6.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00025c3c

Attached is the text file with all the details.

Hi,

Thanks for the report. Does it only crash when you run the live monitoring, but other functions work as before?

We will look at this today.

Yes, it runs fine and works normally until I try to monitor signals. I thought it might be my administration rights on this PC but when I switched to the full admin account, it worked for a while and then started crashing. It seems to default to COM port 2 as well and I have to manually switch it back to the correct port (not sure if that helps).

Thanks for the speedy response and don't hesitate to ask if you require additional information!

I'm sure it's a flat-out bug. :) I'll advise ASAP - it's an important feature! Annoyed it originally worked well in my testing environment...

Hi,

We have what is hopefully a fix for the live monitoring feature. You can find version 1.1.11 here:
