RA: Read Write buttons on scripting page don't work

RA: Read Write buttons on scripting page don't work

When you go to the Scripting tab, there are extra Read Write buttons at the bottom. I don't think these work or do anything. Any point to them?

I am wondering the same thing. What do the "read", "write", and "run" buttons do?
