Hi. I'll cut to the chase: I've bought a secondhand Lite Jr. which appears to be V3, judging by the pictures.
I've no idea whether it works. I understand that I need to download configuration software, and possibly other firmware to test it, along with a suitable cable. On the V3 Downloads page there are various versions (3.2.1, 3.3.0 etc.) and associated fimware. The trouble is, the more I read, the more confused I get.
Can some one point me in the right direction and list links to the software I will need to start the process?
I know it may seem like child's play to some of the good folk on here, but this is my first foray into the world of MJ and I'm pretty sure I'll be picking your collective brains for months to come.
All suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jonathan

First - you most likely have firmware that works fine for getting it set up initially, so I would skip this step for now.
Installing the system is simply a process of following the installation guide, here:
