BETA TESTERS NEEDED

Post by 4600cc »

I need beta testers for the latest Megajolt tuner software. The objective is to go above and beyong regular uses of software and try to crash it. The job is as simple as using software as one would normally do, but go one step further and do things that regular users wouldn't. Anything goes here. Candidates are required to provide detailed feedback about experiences and suggestions. This is for all Metajolt tuner projects, currently MLJT and Brent's tuning software. All applicant's will have access to the latest tuning software weeks and even months before the offical release. All participants will receive a credit in the application's about box under beta testers section.

Position of pckup & 36 tooth wheel.

Post by framis »

I am using a Toyota 1.6L and think the position of the wheel is only dependent on the position of the pickup. I am not using the distributor. I will use the EDIS system. If the engine timing is "O" top dead center, the missing tooth and pickup can be positioned 90degrees apart anywhere on the wheel. This way I can position the pickup out of the way of the fan belt. Any comments on that. Framis

Error....

Post by flashrs1988 »

Hi Alex, I have been running you new version of the software, and have discovered the fowling fault...when running the program live, in the runtime display, when you try to switch back to the Ing table you get the fowling Error.... "Thread Error. The parameter is incorrect (87)"
And then a few seconds later you get this error...." Access violation at address 004091ED in module MJTUNER.EXE'. Read of address FFFFFFFF"
Cancelling these errors just crashes the program.
Other than that it all seem to be working fine.
This is running under windows 98, IBM Think pad, RSturbo 1600 cvh turbo 12 psi, Megajult v2.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers

Steve
