MAP sensor or Throttle sensor?

Try MAP, if too much trouble, use TPS
MAP works better for varying altitudes, so try it first, see if you can get it working. If not, TPS will do. I think you'd find it fun trying both of them, it's not hard and people here will help you out.
i'm running a map sensor my car setup but.
i'm running a map sensor on my carb setup. i managed to get a good reading by taping all the runners, but it reads 45 to 55 at idle so effectively renders half my map table un used . as the only time the reading drops lower, is when i lift off the throttle completely and close the car butterfly's to create more of a vacuum in the manifold.
Any one know how easy/whats involved in convert the MJLJ unit to TPS?
