Windows 8, software 4.0.2 won't load

I recently changed to Windows 8 on my laptop. The software appears to be hanging on the launch screen. I tried downloading a new version and retrying with the same results.

Second question...the software has 1 comm port option but my bluetooth setup on the laptop has a port for incoming and one for outgoing being used by the bluetooth module...I have connected via module in the past (only option)...anyone know how to resolve?

I have this installed on a 2 stroke 60HP 2 cylinder outboard powerhead, as used in the Wetbikes.

Hi,

The app should defintely work fine on Windows 8.1.

Most of the communications problems revolve around a compatible USB to serial adapter. Check Windows Device Manager for the COM port it assigned your adapter, and then you can set that in the configuration app. The single COM port will show up under the ports section of Device Manager.
