come on, somebody must know
come on, somebody must know this?
Well....
Well....
1) ...if you look at the diagrams in
http://picasso.org/mjlj/?q=node/757
then pin 2 and 4 do nothing on 4 and 6 cylinder installations
2) What brown and green wire? The coil connector has three wires. Mine are black, green/red and green/yellow
3) If you mean the radio suppression capacitor, then that's what it is. It seems to be optional and may or may not be present in the donor car that you get the EDIS from. I haven't got one, but there again, I have no radio anyway!

wire identity
If you are talking about the center coil lead, it's +12vdc.
It is actually red/green but yours may have aged the red to look like brown. The wiring is clearly identitified in the installation part of the manual which is just a few clicks away under Project Information Library. Hope that helps.

since pin 2 and 4 isnt used
since pin 2 and 4 isnt used is it okay for me to take the pins out and use one of them in space 11 for the rev counter as I am missing that one?
unused pins
Sure. Don't know how to take them out of that connector though, not sure a molex removal tool would work. Maybe you already figured that out.

That was no problem at all,
That was no problem at all, just used a kitchen knife.
