Does anyone have some notes on how to generate math channels? Is this even possible? Maybe using some scripting??? I am simply trying to generate data to show the shaft velocities of some dampers that I have linear pots mounted to. It would be nice to be able to do this without having to manipulate a text file. Just have each velocity as a separate output channel.
Also, is there a way to view the log files by connecting a laptop directly to the logger? I am currently having to pull the data card in and out to see the data. This isn't a big deal, but the small gap directly above the card reader slot on the logger face-plate is a huge pain in the you know what. Already lost two cards inside the box when I didn't have the card lined up. I had to remove the face-plate to get them out. I lost a lot of valuable test time having to deal with this. It would be much easier just to plug the laptop directly into the logger.

I used a micro sd extender which you might also try. They are cheap and available on Amazon. You can mount the sd micro slot in a more convenient location Like I did.
Hi air1dpt,
You can view live data via the raw channels view in the app dashboard: http://i.imgur.com/lkjtDnB.png . Just have your RCP connected via USB (or over Bluetooth if you are using an Android tablet). Works on desktop/laptops and tablets.
You can generate math channels via Lua scripting, we have examples and information here: https://www.autosportlabs.net/RaceCaptu ... hannels.29
Let us know if you have any other questions!
