It's my own dumb fault, but i just came back from an event and realized i never reinstalled the SD card. It'd be nice if a warning could be displayed on the dash "Hey stupid, install the SD card!"
The weird part is that I opened the glove box to view the RCP and based on the LEDs, it looked like it was recording fine.
Good thing the tablet was also recording.
Warning that no SD card is installed in RCP
There are a couple of indicators that there's an error with SD logging:
* Red LED on front panel will light up. This is a general "something's not right" and lights up when SD fails to log, or if there's an error in the Lua scripting.
* System Status pages will show an error with SD logging. Try it by attempting to log without an SD card.
We generally avoid modal popups that have to be manually dismissed as these could pop up during racing and would be difficult to dismiss, and we're working to remove any existing ones that still linger.
Possibly some indicator in the top status bar that "something is amiss" might be helpful.
