Is there any existing script for Predictive timing indication for the ShiftX2 module or does "implement me" mean get off your duff and write your own script?

Nope! I need to write up the script - it's very similar to the sequential shift light. It will also need the Beta 2.12.0 firmware as it uses the new Lua script function - getPredTime().

Hang tight! :)

Alright! A preliminary Predictive timing visualizer script has been added to the wiki:

I have not been able to get this script to do anything. Has anyone else been able to get the visual predictive timing working? I am not at all familiar with Lau script although it looks like visual basic that I have used. Is there a way to step through the program to debug it?

Hi,

Thanks for the follow up.

I take it you have the rainbow test script working, so that is good.

When you test with the predictive timer, are you also monitoring the App's predictive timer indicator as well?

The display will start working only when a predictive time is actually available. That means, completing a 1 full lap of the circuit you are running. After the first lap, the predictive timer kicks in and starts updating.

You can simulate this by setting up an ad-hoc course in a parking lot or around your local streets.

Let us know, I'll watch for updates.
