Sorry for slow reply - I have been on holiday. I also have Mikuni carbs off an R1, and have done some measurements. The centre pin is the TPS signal output. The outer two are the live (+5V VREF) and earth. See photo below:
<img src="http://www.heggs.co.uk/mjlj/pinout.jpg">

This gives an increasing output voltage as the throttle is opened, which should correspond to increasing MAP/TPS values in the software.

Hope this helps. If you have any problems let me know.

Do you have the correct connector for the Mikuni sensor? If so where did you get it from?

It sounds like you have a similar set up to me (Yamaha R1 Mikuni carbs on a 2 litre Zetec, with a manifold made by Bogg Brothers). What car do you have? I would be interested to see some pictures of your installation. Would also be useful to compare maps, as I will have to drive the car to Bogg's before they can put it on their rolling road.

Hi, sound like you've more

Hi, sound like you've more or less the same, Ive a mildly tuned 2L zetec, running mikuni carbs on a Bogg Brothers (work of art)Manifold.

Its a Tiger Kitcar (seven style etc)

As i live down Essex/London way im a bit far for Bogg Brothers rolling road, i need to find one my way.

The map im running is from Matt Dearen (http://www.cate1.co.uk/megajolt/index.php)

Ive got my throttle pot connections the other way 5v at the Top, Earth at the Bottom, seams to work though. ( looks like i better check it later)

Hi,
I am building a 7 and have put a 2ltr DOHC in and have just got my Mikuni carbs and have ordered my megajolt, are there any problems which I should be aware of? I realise the Zetec and my engine is different. I also hasten to add that megajolt and motorcycle carbs are new territory for me........ I can fix a tank and good old oil burners but as I said new territory so if you could give me some guidance I would be most grateful.
My email is bb_wales@hotmail.com
Thanks
Bob
