Hey there
Just wired up a megajolt to. Ford Essex V6.
Test ran the motor on edis 6 and all is good.
Ran a loom to the megajolt that I bought from trigger wheels last year and when I connect usb cable to laptop, select port no problem but I get a time out comms error cylinder count message.
Checked all wiring and everything is to spec, shielded cable from edis to megajolt ignition power and ground good, the only other connections I have are a coolant sensor input.
So per the manual I disconnected tried a few things, which did not resolve it and have now removed megajolt from car and bench tested.
Power 12v and ground connect to pc and same error message.
Have I just got a duff unit or am I missing something.
The unit came with a new comms cable which plugs into megajolt with what looks like a camera data cable similar to my go pro cable with usb at the other end.
Am I missing something?
Regards
Mark
