My instructions say VR sensor connected to pin 5 and 6...But also, TPS pin 6 (on the EDIS).....is this correct???????????????.........Or am I losing the plot....

Here is what you do, leave the Megajolt and TPS out of equation. Work with these for now: VR, trigger wheel, EDIS, coil packs, and the wiring that goes between them. It will be enough to provide constant 10 BTDC timing when installed properly. After you have it wired try to fire it up, if not working swap wires from pin 6 to pin 5 and from pin 5 to pin 6 (VR sensor).
