Hi All,
I have started the install on my mini and am a little stuck at the wiring, i have a few pictures of the molex connector and am stuck at the PGM1,2,3,4 pins, do i use these? where do they go?
I have got the VR sendor done to the EDIS module, the coil wires go to the EDIS, the saw and pis go from EDIS to molex, i have 2 12V wires and 2 earths what else do i need.
any help will be great thanks

thanks for that so i really only need five if using a tacho, does this mean i need the following?
one power in the top right
one earth in top left
3rd down on right for the SAW (EDIS pin 3)
6th down on right for the PIP (EDIS pin 1)
7th down on right for Tacho output
if i wanted to run a rev limit from the 6th down on left but where does it go to?

Due to the design of the EDIS module there is no direct way to control rev-limiting. However, there are options:
Search for 'rev limit' - you will find some discussions around this. It basically involves electrically disabling the coils through the use of the 'rev limit' output.
The MJLJ will do a soft rev limit by setting advance to zero, 100 RPMs before the 'hard' rev limit. If the engine pushes past the rev limit, the external 'rev limit' output is enabled.
I'm working on offering a external rev-limit kit as an add on, so I would like to have some beta-testers take a look at it.
Anyone interested?

Rev Limiter
I am also interested in the hard rev limiter. I set up a test bench to look in to this, intending to make something, but haven't really been able to spend any time on it. Since I don't have my system installed in the car yet, others are probably better able to test your solution. I will certainly be interested in the results though.
