Hi Everybody.
I'm looking for both the crank sensor wheel with sensor and the Motorcraft EDIS-8 unit.
The Escort 1.9L engine wasn't imported here... Been looking and asked around.
And there isn't a lot of mustangs here and fewer in the junk yard.
I can get the coil packs without a problem (same as 1.8L Escort engine and they are plenty full)
I Assume that they are pretty standard units?
To my request (hoping).
Could a friendly soul get the parts and send them to me? (I have paypal).
I want to get these parts before I buy the Megajolt unit.
Please specify what you want for the parts including shipping (USPS) before you acquire the parts.
Best regards
Swede

is that trigger wheel mounted correctly?
i notice you have a picture of a trigger wheel mounted to a scat pulley (vw i presume) now i may have misunderstood things here but i thought the middle of the missing tooth was TDC, your pic shows it clearly elswhere. why is that?

Your right it is not mounted correctly.
I took the photo before I got it adjusted correctly. But, the missing tooth should be set as below, not at TDC.
See http://www.jsm-net.demon.co.uk/megasqui ... stall.html
From the above website:
SPECIFIC-ANGLE is defined as follows: EDIS4=90, EDIS6=60, EDIS8=50
EITHER
1) Turn your engine to SPECIFIC-ANGLE degrees before TDC (check direction of rotation!). Mount the VR sensor wherever is convenient and mount trigger disc so that the centre of the sensor aligns with the centre of the missing tooth.
OR
2) Set your engine at TDC, then put the missing tooth SPECIFIC-ANGLE/10 teeth ahead of the sensor. This will put the centre of a tooth central to the sensor.
There should be approx 1mm gap between sensor and wheel.
It sounds way more complicated than it is.
