Did you see my MJLJ article in this months Retro Cars?
i think it generated quite a bit of interest in the project. the reporter chap got a few minor bits wrong in the article, but never mind, hehe
Hi Josh, I saw the article
Hi Josh,
I saw the article, to be honest it was the main reason I decided to buy the mag this month. I'm in the process of re-building a '78 1500 Midget and my friend has a 1500 spitfire that we intend to fit this system to. Im just trying to get a list of parts and suppliers in the uk to get the kit together.
Once we have made the first kit and fitted it to my mates spitfire then we might end up fitting one to his dads GT6 converted spitfire.

Great article though and definetly got my attention drawn to this and your site. What bits did the reporter chap get wrong?

Nice write up
Hi Josh,
I too purchased this magazine just for your article on the Megajolt!
I have a question about it though, on page 99, the top right most photo is of a 36-1 toothed wheel which the text underneith mentions is from a Sierra. I wasn't aware of any Sierra's fitted with EDIS, so they wouldn't have a need for such a thing. I hope I'm wrong as I'm going to implement a Megajolt on my 2lt Pinto (from a Sierra) so if there's an off the shelf part that'd be great!
Can you shed any light on the matter?

sierra edis
the edis sytem was fitted to sierra's with cvh engines ![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

article stuff
for the gt6 you will need an edis 6 module and coilpack, these are'nt too common in the scrap yards as they were only fitted to some v6 mondeo's, scorpio's and v6 cosworth cars.
there is a caption that refers to the software, but the picture is of my data logging software. i think there may have been something else but nothing major.
good luck with your build
