RPM based triggers

In the future I'd like to see triggers at programmable RPMs. For example, to trigger variable valve timing at a given RPM ... configure RPM thresholds to trigger the event and, maybe at a higher RPM to again disable the event. Further triggers to reverse the process as the RPMs fall.
