Error message when voltage drops

Post by zai800 »

I am installing a megajolt lite system on my BMW 2002. I am getting an error message if battery voltage on car drops below 12.9 volts. What minimum voltage is required?

The MJLJ circuit is internall

The MJLJ circuit is internally regulated to 5v; it should easily operate down to a 9v input (I've used 9v batteries to power the circuit).

You might want to remove your unit and power it separately from a clean DC power supply- i.e. a set of AA batteries or a 9v. If you have problems, you probably have an issue with the construction of your unit.

If it does work correctly from battery power, there might be something else about the power input when its running off your car.

Best of luck,

I have connected the Controller, EDIS module & Laptop on a test bench with a portable battery pack. When the voltage from the battery pack dropped below 12.9 volt the error occured the same as in the car, What checks /tests can I do on the controller? (I can use a Multi Meter)
