Hi All,
I have a query as to the wiring of the Megajolt/EDIS system concerning a diagram on the origional Megajolt site (http://www.bgsoflex.com/mjl/mjl_edis_summary.html).
My original car ('75 Triumph Spitfire - any idea's Josh?) has some kind of suppressor/resitor with sits between the negative side of the coil and earth. I have noticed that the EDIS diagram on the original Megajolt site also pays reference to a 25uf Radio Suppressor, however this appears to sit strangely on the power/positive line???????
Can anyone explain whether I need to wire in some kind of suppressor in or whether I just ignore this and wire thing the coil and EDIS units to normal +tive and -tive supplys?
Thanks,
Chris
On a similar note, can I confirm that the Megajolt unit doesn't loose its memory if it looses power? (As in I'm planning on hooking it up to an immobilised power feed which will supply NO power when the alarm/immobiliser is on and obviously I don't want to loose any map settings.)
