Losing the will to live with this.........

Post by squirrel »

Seem to be having problem after problem with Megajolt.

Have finally managed to get Megatune to run, but Now i'm getting the Error message 'Could not connect with controller' when opening the Ignition table.
And 'unable to communicate with controller' when opening the runtime display.
ECU from Bill 'S' in the UK, So doubt there will be anything wrong with the construction of the unit (He tested it for me before shipping)

Have Tried the Hyperterminal solution.

Sorry, i've just about had it with this, Good idea in principle, but i beleive this needs a Windows interface and NOT Java, which is difficult to use and install for Megajolt use.
Just Glad that i Haven't taken my Excisting Ignition control off my car.

I had the same problem with mine and my solution was simple but took forever to for me to figure out. I just needed to "power up" the board with a 12 volt supply.

Have you tried looking at Brents "Trouble Shooter" in the books section? You might also do a search on the word "bozo" and find some instructions I rewrote based on all the trouble I had getting mine going. I didn't think I would ever get it going but I did and it works great. Don't give up yet!

Sorry to hear you're having problems. You might want to enlist some help on your machine to get it to work; otherwise you can wait for 4600cc 's windows software, wich sounds nice.

I will probably work on a basic native windows tuning application, it will require the .NET runtime, but should integrate with windows more seamlessly.
