How much clearance is required between teeth on the trigger wheel and the sensor ? Is there a minimum and maximum dimension ? I assume that all EDIS systems are the same, but in case it is pertinent, I have an EDIS-8 system.

I set up a test rig and looked at the VR signal on an oscilloscope. You can see the trace at <a href="http://community.webshots.com/album/187 ... ebshots</a> . The strength of the signal increases as you bring the sensor closer to the wheel. 1-2mm looks sensible.
