Does the v2.2 and v3 interpolate between sites?

For example if the revs where mid way between two map points... does the MJ average the two ign timing output figures?

Just read a bit more... Am I right in thinking that its not dependant on hardwear but the frimwear?

Yep, the latest V2 and V3 firmware supports interoplation. It's not dependent on hardware..
