VR-sensor wiring

Post by wulf7 »

Connecting up the last parts of my MegaJolt project and one question came up:
Does the VR-sensor have definite + and – poles?
If so, the connector on my sensor (Ford Escort) has one blue/yellow and one blue/green wire, which one is which?

Yes, it is polarized.. but it's not marked on the connector or sensor. But, it's easy enough to find out.. if it's wired backwards you'll simply have no spark. :)

If you've got the tails on the VR sensor connector and the EDIS module connector, then just match the colours!...one connects to the other in the standard Ford loom
