OK I have the megajolt working on the Bench, Currently my Zetec runs using ESC technology ( http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthr ... ?tid=46921 ) which takes the CPS straight in and converts to wasted spark.
Do I in need to remove this and install edis box?? So that I get the PIP and SAW signals. Does this hen take in air temp and oil temp.
All of the drawings s far show that there is this EDIS unit.
HElP I'm very confused.
EDIS BOX

What all that means that you
What all that means that you have EEC-V controlling your motor. It takes crank sensor input. You have COP setup, coil on plug. It is not a waste spark system.
You have two choices here:
A) Dump your COP setup and get coil packs and wires instead. In this case you will install an EDIS-4 and give it input from crank sensor, EDIS-4 will power a coil pack, to which you will have ignition wires connected.
B) Reuse your COP, making a hybrid COP/waste spark system. In this case you will connect coils off cyl1 and cyl3 together in parallel and assume it is one coil. This coil will then be driven directly by EDIS-4. Same goes for cyl2 and cyl4 coils. The possible problem with this is that EIDS-4 might not have enough juice to power two coils at once, in this case you'd have to build an amplifier. This particular method is one of trial and error.
In both cases signal off crank sensor will feed both engine ECU and EDIS-4. If engine ECU doesn't get CPS signal it will turn but won't start.

EDIS
Sounds like you just need to remove the ESC module, and connect an EDIS module in it's place. Follow the installation diagrams on this site. Crank sensor and coil pack should be the same. The EDIS and Megajolt do not use any temperature sensors, so you don't need to connect these.
I assume you have a normal wasted spark coil pack as shown in my ESC diagram, not COP (Coil On Plug). Also assume you have carbs not fuel injection, so no other ECU to worry about?
