crank pulley

Hi again,
Just fitting my crank pulley.
It has ben sprayed black (Just to match the rest of the engine!)
Will this cause a problem as the notes say a 'light' colour is best

Makes no difference to the sensor whatsoever - it essentially works on magnetic principles so the colour is irrelevant.

However, if your trigger wheel is down in the depths of the engine and you're trying to illuminate it with a strobe lamp and you want to be able to see the missing tooth/any lines you might have drawn on the trigger wheel to show the 10BTDC tooth etc, then a light colour is best.

Purely up to you...
