interpolation between sites

Hi,
Sorry if this has been covered before.

Just starting to install my system and I am wondering if the values you input are interpolated in a linear fashion between the respective sites or just step changes.

Stepwise for V2 software - found on V2 boards

Linear interpolation for V2.5 software - found on V2 boards

Linear interpolation for V3 software - found on V3 boards
