Hi, i have just recieved a new megajolt unit(thank you brent) and i would like to know what the first thing i need to do is.
The unit is the latest V.3. so whats the very first thing i need to program it with.

hello-

conceptually pretty straightforward:

1. get the ford edis system working on your engine. see the information library and the other technical info, links above.

2. once you verify the edis system is working on your engine. you can connect the mjlj unit.

3. install the configuration software, connect it to the mjlj and start tuning.

of course the devil's in the details: search the forums to learn other people's experiences.

Thanks for that i will let you know how it goes.
There seems to be a lack of VW aircooled maps on the internet, is the 'basic map' listed in the 'top 5 files' a good place to start.??
