I am extremely pleased to report that at long last my Westfield XI has fired up. Not quite first turn of the key as some minor glitches turned up, not Megajolt related I must add. Now to sort out the remaining build and we'll be on the road in no time.
For those interested the engine is a modified A series from a 1275 MG Midget, flowed head, Rimflo valves, ported SUs as per Vizard's book, 9.75:1 pistons and a few other little tweeks here and there. The long term plan is to fit an Eaton M45 superchager which I have kicking round the garage which is the major reason for going down the Megajolt route.
Looking forward to setting the car up properly and seeing how she runs.
Thanks to Bill for providing the Megajolt, my soldering skills are somewhat limited!

Delayed action reply
The Megajolt is mounted in the cockpit under the scuttle above the passengers legs.
Hope to put some photos on soon.
