Throttle pot/linkage

Folks ... Having a spot of bother... Fitted genuine Weber pot and fitting kit to the 45 DCOE on my 1071cc Mini (one 45 only!), fitted ok as you would expect but the problem is that the fitting kit and pot occupy the space that my Weber throttle linkage occupied... Is there a linkage that operates the spindle from the left hand side of a DCOE (when looking from the filter end of carb)instead of the right hand side as mine and all others I've seen do?
