Hi,
I am not used to java apps, how do I run it? I have got all the .class files is there something missing?
I have installed the new version of Java, and got the Java Comm components.

Can't Find mjljTune.jar either

Post by Rob »

I'm having the same problem, I've tried downloading both the version 1.0.0 and 2.0.2 Tuning software (several times) but I can only find class files.

Not having used Java before I'm not sure why this is happening, I've installed a new version of Java also (several times over the last few days) and it happily runs the demo problems.

I've also got the Java Comm components, but still know luck. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I've spent several days now trying to install the software with no luck.

Failing that is there any other (non Java) software with I can use with MJLJ instead?

A very confussed Rob

Hi,

Make sure you have a chance to review the software installation instructions: http://picasso.org/mjlj/?q=node/view/6

Also, if you're seeing ".class" files, the .jar file you downloaded is somehow getting unzipped, which is incorrect.

Let us know how it goes.

*!@?*@! WinZip

For some reason WinZip kept unpacking the .jar file every time I downloaded it. Got it sorted now.

Cheers

Hmm, something overrode the default action that takes place when you double-click a jar file.

To get around that, you can create an icon on your desktop with the same command you would type at the command prompt. Be sure to set the "start in" value to the folder where your files are located.
