Managed to get my modded mini cooper running last night on the megajolt system. It's all wired in, and the EDIS & Megajolt is mounted in the correct place.
I'm glad to report that it started on the 1st turn of the key
I'm just waiting for a mounting bracket for the coil pack and i can remove the troublsome dizzy and coil forever!
Then i need to find a quiet road and a good mate for some mapping fun.
Engine Spec if your interested:
1293cc Engine Running 10.5 compression
276 Cam
Mk3 Cooper "s" head with moddified ports
1.75" LCB Manifold and exhaust
Alloy Inlet Manifold with single 1.75" SU Carb
GT ratio box
Cheers All
Anton

"A" Series 1275 engine
Anton,
Can you shed some insight or helpful hints on your megajolt conversion.
I just sourced all the Ford EDIS bits from the wreaking yard the other day. I am planning to install this into my Bug (Frog) Eye with a 1275 engine.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thx.
Phil
