diagnostics ?
What about some simple diagnostics, either from a plugged in PC or using the switched ouputs - to show for example crank sensor is triggering, MJ is running (flashing an output as a watchdog? ), Programming an output as coms Tx/Rx light ??? . Not sure how you could achieve this, but could envisage some help with fault finding would be useful. Maybe an alternative to the second map, set in software as a shipped default ??

Hi Hammy,
Well- basically the PC software shows what the MJLJ is doing at most times- with 3.2.x it also shows the user output states. In any case,if status is being sent out the comms port then the PC software is the choice for using that data.
But I understand that a more simple indicator, like an LED that flashes as some interval would be useful for indicating fault conditions! Great suggestion, I'm putting it on the list for V.Next. I had considered an activity LED that would show each ignition event, etc. might be useful as well.
Again, great feedback- thank you.
