Megajolt and knock sens

Hi,
Would it be possible when you have a turbo engine blowing through a carburettor to mount a knock sensor and some how hook it up to the option switch. If you then load 2 advance curves, the 1 trailing the other by about 3 or 4 degrees and you drive the car on option 1. If you then at some point detect a knock the sensor then switch the option switch and it then fails over to the trailing curve that will then retard the timing by the 3 to 4 degrees.

If this can be done the Megajolt will effectively save engine from detonation.
