Hi again

Post by alfa boxer »

I was looking at the parts manual and came across this below, I would be interested on how to plot a map from this info from idle up to 2000 rpm, although i am using t.p.s. Thanks Lee

Oh dear, apologies for the lack of replies!

Did you make any progress mapping this out to your ignition map?

Translating the RPM scale should be fairly straightforward. But with TPS, you may start with a 0 to 5 degrees advance modification toyour 'base' RPM map, roughly matching the 0-100% TPS to the graphed vacuum curve- progressively changing the advance within the specified range down the load axis.

That would clearly be only a starting point, then you can tweak it for whatever matters to you- driveability, fuel economy, or performance.

Hope this helps.
