Earthing the TPS

Post by david jenkins »

A very quick question - one wire from the TPS goes to earth/chassis. Is it better to take this to a chassis point near to the TPS, or would it be better to use the common earth that I use for MJ, EDIS and coil?

Or doesn't it matter either way! :D

Hi David,

Best is to use the common ground for the MJLJ. Yes, that means running 3 wires back to the unit. :P

Brent,

Thanks for the quick answer - that's what I expected.

One more question - it doesn't need to be screened, does it? (it's not exactly a faint and delicate signal!)

No it doesn't, be fine with "bare" wires.
