tps/vacume
Hi, your map is not running tps
Re: tps/vacume
Hi alfa boxer, what do you mean here? Many Thanks.alfa boxer wrote:Hi, your map is not running tps
Hi 1970wonky,
I got my rad back and tried your map as promised, it works well generally. In some rev/vacuum ranges better, low end was worse, mid range similar, just after mid range the engine seemed to pick up better with your map, medium high range worse, very top end (now i've run my engine in) seemed better with your map.
I'm going to have to modify my map and pinch a few of your values. As i said before i'm going for a rolling road session soon so i'll upload my map as and when to compare.
I've been thinking of a modified head and fast road cam, what sort of power was your engine giving (bhp or rwbhp)
Thanks Mika

Hi mikaking - Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - We got 88bhp on the rolling road, but do have similar symptoms that you describe here - I would be very interested to see your new 'tweaked' RR map if you have now been there. our RR were not Midget specialists
We sadly still have our running hot problem, and have now tried pretty much all we can think of from new hoses, new radiator, engine flush, new gauge, different map...... and hitting the car with a hammer
It runs between 80 - 90 when at any speed, as soon as we go slow or stop, it climbs to 100' and the kenlowe comes in, I have an oil cooler, so I guess that is helping the over all picture.... how does yours run heat wise?? Our nest step is a hot climate fan and a 74' thermostat....
Love to hear from you again nay.col@tesco.net
