Mini is bogging down when pulling away from traffic lights

Well i have had the MJ on for a while now and it runs ok but i always seem to have problnms pulling away from the lights and i have to feather the clutch a fair bit and give it a fair bit of gas so it doesnt stall.

I have one of teh maps from this site but am sure it could be better.

I am not sure that it is definiotely a problem with the map but mechanically i think teh car is ok and it has been suggested that it could be the map that needs looking at.

Can anyone help? I will post a link of the map when i get homw unless i find it on here!!

given how easy it is to swap maps, i would suggest loading the default map from the maps area to see how that goes.
without having even attempted to improve on it, it was a major improvement over the distributor, on my car.

well i thinki might try and tweak this one. or i have downloaded a copy of an Aldon Yellow dizzy so i might even try that.

if its that map maybe you engine don't like the jump from 29° to 14° and than up again.
don't know the idle speed of your engine but could be the problem if your idle is about 800 RPM you give some throttle the advance drops as the RPM rises, you rev it more and the advance goes up again

well i have now found out that the 29 and 14 iwas an attempt by the creator to try and cure an idle problem. So i have put on the aldon yellow dizzy map that you did KLAS and it is much better.
