Edis Heat sink?

Hi all,
Does the EDIS unit require mounting on a heat sink? I can't remember the Ford setup.

I've thought about this, since the edis module has power transistors in it to drive the coils.

I have it mounted as it would've been in the ford escort I removed it from; simply mounted using the bracket. Nothing else appears to be needed.
