Running and Tuned Zetec Bugeye

Post by Hamiltonguitars »

Got the 2.0 Liter Zetec tuned in, and it is really great.
I used the Map for 285 cams from:
http://www.cate1.co.uk/megajolt/maps/20 ... 0cams).cfg
I actually detuned the ignition a little and advanced the cam.

Engine specs:
2 liter Ford Zetec Bore .020 over
Balanced running assembly lightened flywheel and pulley
1 mm oversized valves head port matched to manifolds, Polished exhaust ports, head skimmed .035"
JBA Header from Ford escort, 2 inch exhaust with Magnaflow flow through muffler
Crower Stage 2 cam with heavier valve springs and retainers
45 DOCE webers
Intake cam advanced 4 degrees, exhaust cam retarded 2 degrees.

Dyno results (static not rear wheel)
189 Hp at 6400 and 174 ft/lb torque at 3600
