Ok, This installation is an a Range Rover 3.9 V8
Switched a relay for the 2 coil packs from the existing coil supply, which now reside permanently in my engine bay! Got to hook up the megajolt for the ignition control, but looking good. I took it out for a run. Never missed a beat and definitely more torque even with fixed advance.
Got some trouble with my timing light tho, it doesn't seem to like a wasted spark set-up. The dial for working out the advance reckons I am at 50 degrees!
Switch it to zero tho and it reckons 15 degrees of fixed advance. Which is about right for my sensor setup.
Working with EDIS only

Working Range Rover V8 3.9 installation
Installation with relay in front of engine to switch coils and megajolt on when power received from old ignition coil feed. Also means that I can change back to coil without alteration. The vacuum pickup has to be taken from the back of the plenum. The RR V8 design means that when the throttle butterfly is closed, that the normal pickup for the distributor sees no vacuum at all.
Relay and coil from rover metro, unbelievably the metro mount has exactly the same angle as the inner wing mount.
Happy to see the dizzy cover covered in mud and it still working

Timing wheels
Yes, I did get it from trigger wheels.
I should have bought the bracket too, but had a mental problem with £25
for a piece I could make for £2....
Would have saved a lot of pain though.
The trigger wheel is brilliant tho, well made.
I had to enlarge the bolt holes slightly +.5mm or so to get it on the back.
