Misfire problem

Post by petterjakob »

I have a misfire problem with my megajolt, I can see on the computer that suddenly the rpm readout goes crazy, I have discovered that the megajolte still gets signal if I take away the pip and the saw wire, is this correct? how can this be? I unplugged the sensor and the signal disappears.

If the RPM reading goes crazy, it's most likely the VR sensor is vibrating due to a lees than rigid bracket. Am i right in thinking this happens roughly at a particular engine speed?

Do you still have a mis-fire if the MJLJ is unplugged (running on EDIS only)?
