Hi Brent
The API documentation says it's for 3.1.0/2.7.0. Is there a difference in 3.2.1 and is there an update to the documentation?
Will there be a firmware update for v3 coming soon which will require the API updating and are you waiting for that?
Cheers
Dave
API update?

Hi Dave,
Actually, there's no API difference for 3.2.1 and 3.1- 3.1 was the beta for 3.2.1 and the API was already firmly cast by then.
V4 has an extended API- I still need to publish that! thanks for the ping; it's on the to-do list.
the next V3 firmware will have an extended API as well, it's TBD whether it will be exactly the same as the V4 API.

I am currently finishing up the hardware and writing the software to monitor 4 EGT, 4 CHT, 2 IAT, and whatever other 6 inputs I determine I want on an Ipaq.
I am having it display and also monitor the readings for low, high, and differential between cylinders.
I would love to incorporate the ignition. I would have to switch between com lines, as the old donor Ipaq I am using only has 1 serial com available.
I am new to Megasquirt, and I assume the firmware and PC software is not open source?
I found http://www.autosportlabs.net/asl_dist/m ... cation.pdf which is for V3.
Have you published the extended API for V4?

There are 10 types of people.
Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
